Terms of Service

1. Overview

Welcome to Daniel Contreras Photo (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking a session, purchasing a service, or accessing our website at www.danielcontrerasphoto.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Services

Daniel Contreras Photo provides photography and videography services for individuals, brands, and businesses. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing are outlined in each client’s proposal or invoice.

3. Booking & Payments

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid on or before the session date, unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods include Credit Card, Debit Card, Zelle, Cash, and Venmo.

  • Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of services or withholding of deliverables.

4. Revisions

Each project includes one round of reasonable revisions unless otherwise stated in your agreement. Additional edits, retouching, or revisions beyond what’s agreed will incur an additional charge.

5. Copyright & Usage

All images and videos created by Daniel Contreras Photo are protected by copyright law.

  • Clients receive rights for personal use only.

  • Commercial and promotional use is available by contacting Daniel Contreras directly. Additional contracts and fees may apply.

  • Raw files are available upon request for an additional fee of $100 per project.

  • Unauthorized reproduction, resale, or redistribution is strictly prohibited.

6. Creative Control

By booking with Daniel Contreras Photo, you acknowledge and trust our creative direction, artistic style, and editing process. We reserve the right to use selected images and videos for promotional purposes (website, social media, portfolio, or marketing) unless otherwise requested in writing before the session.

7. Turnaround Time

Photo and video deliverables are typically provided within 3–5 business days from the session date.
Rush delivery is available upon request for an additional $30 rush delivery fee.

8. Rescheduling & Cancellation

Please review the Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy below. Reschedule requests must be made at least 72 hours in advance to avoid forfeiture of the deposit.

9. Liability

While all reasonable care will be taken, Daniel Contreras Photo is not liable for:

  • Acts of God, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.

  • Loss or damage to media after delivery.

  • Injuries, property damage, or accidents during the session unless caused by our negligence.

10. Agreement

By booking or making payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

1. Client Cancellations

  • The 50% deposit is non-refundable as it secures your session date and time.

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled session may apply the deposit to a future session within 60 days, subject to availability.

  • Deposits will be forfeited if the session is canceled or rescheduled within 72 hours of the scheduled time.

2. Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 72 hours before the session.

  • One complimentary reschedule is allowed; additional changes may incur a $100 rescheduling fee.

  • Rescheduled sessions must occur within 60 days of the original booking date.

  • Deposits will be forfeited if rescheduled within 72 hours of the session.

3. Weather or Emergencies

If weather conditions or unforeseen emergencies make shooting unsafe or impractical, both parties may mutually agree to reschedule without penalty.

4. No-Shows

Failure to attend your session without notice will result in forfeiture of all payments and require a new booking and deposit for future services.

5. Studio & Location Fees

If a studio or location was rented for your session, you are responsible for any non-refundable fees or penalties charged by the venue in case of cancellation or reschedule.
